E-books and E-book readers
E-books and E-book readers are very popular now.
E Ink technology only uses power for page turns, not to maintain page display.
Wow!

There are numerous perfectly legal free e-books available for download. A few sites that have them are:

Re: E-books and E-book readers
We have two e-books and will not go bact to store books. We use Kindel and love them. Takes up no space and we can store over 900 books on one unit.
