Default Wifi Antennas

Owning a 1985 Class B Okanagan Dodge normally relegates us to the back of any RV park, far enough away to be out of range for the wireless antenna on our laptop. I would like to hear what others have used that works and is reasonable priced. Prefer the idea of usb port plug in.
Your suggestions and experience please

Thanks

I made my own bracket to addapt the WIFI antenna to the Wineguard TV antenna with an ALFA card. It works very well. I bought the antenna & addapter card on e-Bay. If your at a rest stop or truck stop where the WIFI signal is good you don't need to crank up the antenna. Every RV/Marine so called WIFI antena I tried was a disapointment....especialy Radiolabs. Customer support was cheesy at best Save your money and rig up your own. Good RVing.

Park closer to the wireless router is your best bet, from what I can see online.
Before wireless security like WPA and WEP on home routers became more
commonly used to "put the lid" on the legendary "coffee can" antennas from the
early days of neighborhood wireless bandwidth theft, there haven't been any
breakthrough advances in effectively amplifying wifi signals, when the source
is weak or at a distance. At least, as I said, that I've been able to find via Google.
For every "guaranteed to double or triple your range" system, there's a related
story from someone who's been disappointed or felt ripped off for dealing with
the same retailer or manufacturer.
e caveat emptor.
