Welcome to the forum!

You've come to the right place for advice. Probably the vast majority of members are Roadtrek owners and most of those on the same Chevy Express chassis as yours.

First thing is your Express is widely considered a reliable chassis, fairly inexpensive to repair, and simple enough for DIY work if you're so inclined.

As far the coach portion, you will learn the ins & outs over time. Just be sure to try all systems and driveway camp before heading on a long trip to familiarize yourself with things. For my first 6 months of ownership, my saying was "I learn something new every day". Then for the next year my saying was "I learn something new every week". I still learn something new every now and again after over 4 years.

My 09 Pleasure-Way is on an 08 Chevy 3500 Chassis. 140,000 miles. It was a one-owner, but had no service records. I had my first code about 10k miles ago, simple fix, new plugs and wires. Mechanic said they were original. Solid trans, motor, etc. I have not done anything except the normal, brakes, tires, rims...I feel bad for those with MB, and all the issues they're having. Huge $$$ and PIA wait times to fix. Be glad you have a Chevy
