Default Newbie from rural Maine!

Wife and I just picked up a 2000 RT 200 Versatile (70K miles on it), and we've got a lot of learnin' to do. Last time we camped was over 30 years ago, and that was in a tent. Brand new to this RV thing so we'll have a ton of questions for sure!

Welcome! You'll find the folks here friendly and helpful.

Gonna love not sleeping on the ground, for sure!

That's the same unit we have, but ours has 165k miles on it. We live in Florida and are in the middle of a three month trip to the Northwet and BC.

On TDY near Carson Wa in the Columbia River Gorge with a freshly filled growler from Walking Man Brew pub. Life does not suck.

Have fun, we are.

Back in the day, spent a lot of time tent camping in that area. Willamette Nat'l Forest was a treasure.

Since we both have the same vehicle, I'll be pestering you with a lot of questions about "how to's" and "what if's" and " where in heck IS that and how DOES it work!"

Sounds like you're having a great time!!

You've come to the right place! Lots of really knowledgeable and helpful folks here.

I remember moving from tent camping to a Class B. I read the owner manual twice & still wasn't sure I understood it all. By the first or second trip all the basics were well understood.

Welcome aboard! Oh Maine, what a beautiful State. You are going to really enjoy getting back to camping and traveling with your B. As for this Group....I find them to be the authority on B's and anything to do with them; just look over some of the Subjects covered, and the various inputs - oh wow! Ron

Welcome. Wife and I bought a 2000 RT Pop 190 in January. We are in Dallas, Texas. Lots of good info here. My wife says "get melamine dishes"

I can't say as I've given up tent camping just yet. I'll be throwing a tent on the bike and taking off for about 3-4 weeks in September.

Welcome to the forum!

I also have a 1999 Versatile 200. It's still new to me as we bought it about 3 months ago... But we should become very familiar with it as we're starting a 3 week trip to Newfoundland next week.

Enjoy!
