Default 2003 RT 190V Trailer electrical connectors

My RT has a nice class IV 2" receiver on it, but I can find no electrical connectors for it. I would like to out fit it with a 7-way Bargman style connector (which I can then convert easily with an adapter to a flat-4 if I need to)

On many vehicle I have owned of this vintage, there has been a pigtail to go up front under the dash that connects to a harness of some sort, and runs to another end near the hitch. It usually handles the electric brake controller, and brake lights. Sometimes also the directional, running lights. Does anyone have any ideas of where these harnesses are located on the vehicle, and or a part number for the pigtail at each end?

Thanks.

you can get a simple plug/socket kit at pepboys ( etc.)

suggest that one with built in test leds is a little more costly but helps with trouble shooting

wiring into your van will depend on the make and model

on most GM's the wiring is easily seen underneath and in front of the rear bumper

Sorry, I forgot to post the chassis. 2003 Dodge 3500. I'll get under again when the Wx improves and see if i can't find something. I had a brief look a few weeks ago and didn't see anything that looked like it would go to a trailer connector.

Any hitch outfitter will have the kit you need.

Also check Amazon.
