Default 2005 Rialta QD

Never have had to use heater in RV. Plan on camping without hookups. Can I use the house heater running it off of propane?

According to a Rialta brochure you have a 19000 btu gas furnace with electronic ignition in the QD

if they used the Suburban furnace common to many B's it sounds like a jet taking off

I'd exercise all your systems in the driveway before you head out

propane available at many uhauls, flying J/pilot truck stops

Also make sure that your house batteries are in good condition, as the heater uses 12v power. May need to recharge your house batteries by running the generator or engine.

Good idea.

I like the sound of my furnace.

We have a 99 QD. Have traveled extensively in all weather and have used the furnace a lot. It is quite loud, but does the job very well. Doesn't seem to take much out of the battery with lights, (LEDs), after two days dry camping and not moving. Also the refrigerator on propane coupled with the furnace seems to be plenty of capacity in the propane tank.

We have a 2004 Rialta and have used the heater off of propane several times without issue.
