No, that doesn't work, even in Iceland. However, as I reported in my thread on our recent Ring Road trip, no-plumbing campers are very popular there. They work because there are many campgrounds, nearly all of which have good public facilities; and every little town has a public swimming pool with bathroom and shower facilities.

Tenters and small trailer campers have been traveling and camping without bathrooms for decades without issue, and have been able to survive quite well. I would guess you would be able to classify it as an option for some folks, and a necessity for others. Everybody has different wants and needs, heck, some claim they can't go camping without a Keurig available to them 24/7.

Well, THAT I happen to agree with.

About $60K for a van, $15K for conversion, $150K for the OSV vinyl sticker.

We all have different preferences:
360° view from inside – must
Toilet – must
Comfy bed - must
Shower – nope
Keurig – nope

Also, just no. It's like 90F here plus a longhair cat that won't keep off my lap. Just looking at that second floor makes me sweat.

I have always called my 136" HR PM a campervan, not an RV. No plumbing whatsoever. Toilet gets "erected" as needed, then stowed away and bag disposed of. Not an issue even living in it for three months at a time--much more comfortable than the tent we graduated from.

Right? I'm thinking one strong ocean breeze creates a Wizard of Oz situation there.
