Default Allow me to introduce meself...

Well boys, since I didn't see a place for introductions, reckon I'll put'er here (as I've gotten into geezerhood, I'm talking more like me Irish granny). Okay here's the scoop:

Ethyl and I have had these RVs - '74 VW Campmobile bought new, LOVED it. A 16' travel trailer, eh, okay. A 28' Midas travel trailer, loved it, but hey, it's still a trailer. A 1968 VW Campmobile, oh me, regretted selling our new one! And now, a 25' Aerolite travel trailer bought new in '98. Like it, but still a trailer.

Much RV experience, and we know the Class B is for us! Now, just which one? We don't want nary slide outs. So, here we are. Glad I found this site! I'm on way too many forums, but need y'all here. Let's hang in boys, we're gonna make it.

( I pour everyone here a cold brew ) First of all, Thank You all for having this site. I am a spanking new member as of today ( April Fool's day of all days ;p ) My name is Bugsy White ( you can call me Bugsy ) and i have come to the concusion that i will be a future RV owner , hopefully soon. I have been doing a little research and im glad to have found this forum, it helps and for that, I thank ya'll. I am saving my cash because i know i want to have a Class B as my very first RV and im leaning towards a 1998-2003 Dodge Xplorer 230 XLW ( if i can find one and it doesnt break my wallet )...So, i will start combing through this site to see if anyone here as any info on them, advice, or any thing i need to know at all about RVing in general, so Thanks again. ( Pours you all one more for the road ) Bugsy

Welcome Bugsy - you'll probably get one soon. Once you start looking at a few vans you'll know if it's something you want to do.

Welcome Bugsy!

If you don't this already, there are some guys on Youtube that have Xplorers - they are quite popular with the full-time vandwelling crowd. If you need some recommended people to follow, send me a PM.

Thanks again Mark and Wincrasher and yes wincrasher, i have been checking out JUSTINCREDIBLE.TV ( Canadian guy who has the Xplorer thats pimped out, lol ) and Happily Houseless and Xplorer Steve, all on Youtube and Facebook. I have been checking out Pleasureway's and Coachman's, i have looked at Chinook Baja's ( I like those but aint got 80 grand ), same with the Sportsmobile's.....I like the look of Sportsmobile's from the outside but not sure if it's right for me inside. I was concidering gutting a P30 Stepvan but i think their way too top heavy. I still need to do some digging, like Mark suggested, and keep looking and i will eventily find the right one for me....I am going to RV full time and still work, so i need to learn everything there is to know about the RV i get, so that i can work on it as much as i can without having it sent to a specialist. Thanks again for the Welcoming replys
