Question Anywhere to buy 2 inch Grey Water Sewer Drain Hose?

Do any of your Class-B Camper Vans - or Smaller Aluminum, FG, etc. trailers, or pop-up tent trailers use a threaded connector +/-2" O.D. Sewer Drain Hose (+/- 1.5" inside diameter) to drain your sink, grey water (or black)?

If so, do you have a source to buy them?

I assume that somebody somewhere sells the drain hose with screw-on attachments to fit these trailers & RV/Class-B waste drain lines.

Both our 1970 Eriba Puck has it on the sink drain pipe, as well as the newly installed grey water tank for 1980-92 VW T3/T25 Vanagon Westfalia Joker/etc. - so I'm on the hunt to get a couple for both vehicles.

See attached pix below - 1st 2 pix are the Westy tank, & last pic is the Puck's sink drain outlet with white cap ...

Thanx for any help!

Cheers!
Tom

Your camper vans are lovely! I don't have a caravan for family trips, but my neighbor has one, and I know that he was looking for a sewer drain hose at one time. The prices for such a thing were relatively high in the specialized stores, but they were not in stock either. The solution he approached was to ask about it at the company https://draintoronto.ca/ which deals with the sewerage installations for the house. There he managed to find something similar to what he needed, and even the specialists there helped him install everything.

did you try gowesty.com ?

I'd assume they know what you have there for fittings and common solution

for weird fittings, check a swimming pool supply- some of teh cleaner/vacuum systems use fitting 1.25~2"

and possible you coul dput together parts to adapt to a bayonet mount rather than screw-on

Ta Christan for the compliments & suggestion.

Our 1988 T25 Westfalia & 1970 Eriba Puck would both use the same size 2" sewerage hose & fittings, & I have seen some kits with bayonet fittings - as well as a "Y" branch to connect both the Westy van & Puck into one sewer inlet.

I'll probably need to get some sewer fitting adapter parts from our plumbers doing the house re-piping to screw that 2" line into the typical USA 3.5" sewer fitting.

However, between COVID, home renovations & busy work - I've had to set aside my search for now since posting here.

Happy memories of Glasgow from our 1985 Honeymoon trip to the UK & Ireland!

Cheers!

Hi Mike,

Neither GoWesty (CA), Van Cafe/Rocky Mountain (CO), Just Kampers (USA & UK branches), Bus OK (Netherlands), VW Bus Shop (Germany), nor Bus Depot (PA), etc. have a clue.

And Bus Depot sold me the Euro Grey Tank pictured above!

Having owned our `88 Westy since new & doing a rolling resto/refurb in 2012-13, I know & have tried all of the usual suspects in the Vanagon/Westy world.

GoWesty & Bus Depot didn't even have a clue as to what to replace the original Westy city water supply line from the hook-up box to the sink faucet, because the original line was the known defective polybutyl pipe/hose which splits after a few years. Polybutyl pipes were taken of the market for buildings in the 1990s due to this defective performance.

FYI - for our Westy & your PleasureWay & Roadtrek, etc. Class B's - you use a SS braided Dishwasher or Washing Machine Hose 1/2" or 5/8" of the proper length to match the original!

I've looked at some of the pool cleaning hoses/fittings, which may work in part.

I'm still hoping to find a UK or EU supplier who still supplies the original type of sewer drain kits for their older era UK/EU Caravan/Trailer & small Class B/C Camper Vans fitted out with those 2" lines/outlets.

It's just odd that they would completely drop off the face of the earth.

I continue to look off & on, but COVID has lots of shipping, supplier, manufacturing, etc. delays - so a lot of stuff at all sources are low, slow &/or unavailable for now.

Thanx for the suggestions.

PS - I'm not thrilled about bayonet fittings - vs. screw-on - since they can slip out, and even grey water is a PITA! Been there, done that - so I'll try to get something with or change out bayonet to screw-on fittings.

My Dad used to call bayonet fittings for our 1960's truck camper grey water drain "Slip-on, Slip-off Fittings"!

Cheers!
Tom
