Default Bio-diesel Pleasure-Way (news story)

"The Saskatchewan Party, for example, has traded in last election's campaign bus for a more environmentally friendly bio-diesel Pleasure-Way to insure that Brad Wall leaves as small a carbon footprint on this election campaign as possible."

"Saskatchewan Party Leader Brad Wall and his campaign team opted for a Pleasure-Way, a Dodge converted into a van motorhome by Saskatoon's Pleasure-Way Industries."

"Wall's diesel van also runs on biodiesel, which it gets when in Regina at Canadian Green Fuels.

"It's logistically difficult to keep it full of just biodiesel but we wanted to have our campaign powered by Saskatchewan canola," Wall said."

Yes, we buy it whenever possible. There is only 1 station in this area that sells it (so far) and we consistently buy it there.

There is a website (biodiesel.org) that has a listing of stations in the US that sell biodiesel.

It's funny, my brother in law is the service manager for a car dealership. When we stopped over there in the RV the other day he walked up while it was still running and asked if we were using biodiesel. He can smell the difference.....

The Saskatchewan Party won the election and their leader, Brad Wall, will be Saskatchewan's next Premier.

I know nothing about politics in Saskatchewan and do not mean for this to be construed as a political post - but I think it would've been tempting to vote for the man in the PW van!
