Default Blind Spot Detection Monitor

Hi
Awhile back I asked if anyone had installed one of these units, I think the answer was no, (can't remember how to find old posts to check), Any way we went ahead and installed a

For our own reasons we chose the towable package.
Long story short we really like the unit. Works both as side blind spot drtector and as cross traiffic when backing up.
Yes, I know many are happy with their mirrors .
For us a nice Up grade
Hope everyone is doing well

We did the install wiyh help.
What does that mean ?
Well I'm not good enough with finishing projects to make/keep the Admiral (commission
Left over from sailing days)Happy . And unfortunately she is correct.
So, I installed the plug conection and took apart the planals inside the Van and made backing plates (plywood marine-grade) so the only thing left to do was the drilling and running the wires and testing and of corse putting everything back toghther properly. Remember we chose the tow package instead of the Van?class B option.
Why
Because, I thought we had metal bumpers,I like the suction cup display ,,, rather than the pillar buttions ,,,, and I wanted to use the trailer electric hook-up to power the unit. just my own preferance, but I'm glad we went that route.
We are VERY happy with the results
Take care
Michael
