C190P passenger side rocker panel loose

I've finally banged my fiberglass passenger side "ground effects" rocker panel against enough curbs that it now has a gap between the panel and the van body. I've attached a couple photos. I imagine that I'll have to remove it and bend the mounting supports to close the gap.

Has anyone done this and has photos or suggestions? Any photos of what is back there? Is the panel bonded or glued or screwed or ? to the van body?
