Class B to B+ or C

Hi, well I have really enjoyed this forum but I guess I need to move to the B+ or C forum. I just gave the wife a Birthday present.
2010 Class ??? XCoachman Freelander on a Freightliner/1Sprinter chassis.
It is registered as a 2010, however, the chassis is a 2008 which I got snookered on.

maybe, maybe not, 2010 model year for passenger vehicles brings in tier II emissions controls and regs.

not sure if this applies to you but your 2008 may possibly make more power, better mpg if it is not subject to tier II.

I know this makes a considerable diff with a 2009 model year ( 49 State) vehicle I own compared to the next model year 2010 and newer models

The reality is that probably the majority of 2009 and 2010 B's and C's are built on 2008 platforms. 2008 was when the RV market tanked, so most manufacturers had them sitting on their storage areas waiting. Those companies that survived the crash, used them up over the next two years. Legitimate sellers should have informed you, but it is obvious from VIN numbers if you check.
