I don't have and never have had a B Class RV. We own a "C" Class. We've had it now for 10 years and really like it. It's also a classic being 30 years old this year.

I joined the forum because I know Markopolo from another forum. When he invited use over, I decided to contribute where I could.

We have a TT but I answered the poll anyway. With the first question being x percentage Class B and y percentage not, I took it as the polls being open to both. Hope I didn't throw things off.

No, you didn't throw anything off. The purpose was to find out the number of forum members who own a Class B and also how many don't own a Class B.

Yes I did Marko. Winter here now and the "B"s are in demand for the people going south. Made very good money on it. I will look at another in the spring. Maybe a travel tailer this time. I found when we pulled in and got all set we didn't like being with nothing to drive around. On the other hand I enjoyed the minimal time for setup of the B and when it was raining in the morning simply start the engine and go if you prepare in advance. I could go either way with trailer verses another B. But I did make very good money on it and could not turn it down.

It's not that often you get to "make" money on a vehicle so that sounds good to me.

Lately I've been thinking about having a smaller B (less than 20') for touring and short trips and a comfortable trailer for trips where I'll park in one place for a week or more. Just thinking about it though.

That is what I was thinking about Marko. I like the easy way of the B but the comfort and extra vehicle is also nice. Like I said I purchased the PW at a price that we thought was to good to be true and used it for the end of the summer. When I went to the dealer here to get my RV antifreeze he commented on how he wished he had some good B's to sell because they were fetching top dollar. So it got me thinking and I thought well list it very high and if it sells fine. First day listed I could have sold ten of them. We have always been a camping family and will never stop so I know come spring there will be another trailer in the driveway.

I own a '95 Pleasureway MPL. Have had it for 3 years
and we think it's the best way to RV. We can tow our
boat if we're going to a lake or just go touring and
camping. It's easy to get in and out of tight spots and
only takes minutes to set up or take down from
camping mode. After having camped with larger rigs,
and fifth wheels, this is a dream.

Default Class B Motorhome

We recently purchased a Gulfstream Vista Cruiser.. It's built on a Dodge van base powered by a Mercedes Benz diesel engine. I'm really surprised that more people don't like the Class B's. It's perfect for what we need it for ie: getting to and from friends and relatives, also day trips.

Default Class B Ownership

Yes, we own a 2000 Xplorer 230XLW-- like a deluxe Road Trek with dually rear wheels. It's our first so it's hard to be objective, but I must say it's a well-planned, nicely built vehicle and we're using it regularly. Thanks for the great website!

Default yes, yes we do own a B

Purchased this last summer an 05'/06' Roadtrek 190 Versatile.

Have taken one large trip with it - from Texas to So Cal, up Hwys 1 & 101 to the top of the Olympic peninsula, across to Whidbey Island, down to Vancouver Wa, east along the Columbia River, past Mts Hood, St Helens, Crater Lake, over to (thru) Reno and Vegas and back to Texas thru Amarillo - 21 days and 6200+ miles.

A 3 day excursion to Inks Lake State Park (vicinity of Austin Tx).

Planning on Yellowstone, Tetons, Colorado mountains next summer.
