Default Does Your Bathroom Door Lock?

I recently bought a 2010 Great West Van and the bathroom door is missing the lock. So when driving the door will randomly open. The company is not in business any longer and all I have is a hole in the top of the door labeled lock (see pic). The door opens via a hinge in the middle and this is where the lock is.
Does anyone know where I can get this piece? Thanks

I've had three class Bs from three different manufacturers. None of my doors had a lock. Could that be a stay to keep the hinge door in place while underway?

MY 2014 Legend had cam latches on each door:

These appear similar:

These work quite well, but they are clearly different from yours. There are a million of items like this available at the RV supply places.

That looks like a round pushbutton latch hole for the marine style pushbutton style latch.

Marine websites, Amazon, etc will have them, but be sure to measure all the necessary dimensions as they are not all the same.

Our 2020 Midwest Automotive Legend has a regular door handle with a lock on the bathroom.

Thanks for the help and photos. I think it was the latch Avanti had posted. I'll look into getting one.

I'm not so sure. Your hole looks much lower than mine. I don't think the cam arm would reach to the top. Plus, my mechanism requires two. If you configured the arm to reach to the other door, it wouldn't work--the unconstrained door would open which would allow the one with the latch to open, too.

You could certainly use the hardware like mine, but (a) you would need two, and (b) you would have to drill two holes and hide the existing one somehow.

Is there anything to see on the inside of the doors or at the tops when they are open?

Mine is only a single door that is hinged in the center. And it only looks like it is far from the frame on the exterior but when you open the door the frame is only an inch above that hole. There is also wear on the frame from something used to latch it.

Ah. Then you should be all set.
