Default Dometic refrigerator problem

I have a small Dometic refrigerator in by Class B '99 Dodge Explorer and when I put it on Automatic setting, it only works on propane. I've checked the electrical plug and it is fine. I looked for the fuse but I cannot locate it. Does anyone know where it is and if that is the problem or something else?

Does it works when you force it to 110v ? Or only working on propane when on automatic mode ?
What is the model number ?
Assuming it is not working when on 110V then first thing is to check is if you can read voltage at the 110v receptacle where your fridge connect. It looks like a regular wall socket.
If not then an electrical circuit breaker might be the cause. Check your breaker panel.
If yes then your electrical heating element could be defective. In this case another voltage probe at the element can tell if it is the element.
The presence of voltage there suggest a defective heating element.

See if you can find your service manual here using your fridge model number :

There is flow diagrams in order to help you troubleshooting.

Come back with any other questions you may have.

Good luck

I had a similar problem with the AC side of my frog. Would not work on AC, but gas was fine. Found the problem to be a tripped GFI receptical in the bathroom. Actually, the GFI receptical was bad. I replaced it, and all is well now.
