No. It is also 10,000 BTU versus the older 12,000 BTU.

Everything else the same except the thermostat and the more environment friendly refigerant which is reponsible for the reduced output. For those that don’t know Coolcat is available special order from a Dometic dealer only.

Just an opinion but replacing a Coolcat with another A/C is a fool’s errand as long as the original is available.

Default thermostats

One thing not mentioned in the discussion on thermostat is the battery placement One that installed became a problem by virtue of its location the batteries would eject themselves and the front cover under not too heavy braking . Easily resolved by a secondary screw but a SURPRISE INDEED
