I am sure you are correct on that.

Will be tough to get a good test drive, though, until someone builds an RV on one to load it down.

Robert Ryan mentioned the Motori 428 being around a while so pretty proven. Wiki lists it back to 2001 with a fuel delivery update in 2010. Also said Motori is owned by Fiat.

I wouldn't consider it a new engine. It has been in use for 5 years and is an upgrade on an engine that has been used for 15 years. Just new to the GM vans.

Plus there is a long warranty. I'd buy it if I wanted an RV on the Chevy platform.

Sprinter is rated at 7,500lbs in the US. Exactly the same Sprinter, is rated 4,400lbs in Australia. So what the 2.8 can do is a mystery.

That's due to the opposite Coriolis force.
