Default European Sprinter Class B Layouts

I came across a site tonight for a motorhome company in England:
http://www.mclarensportshomes.co.uk

They have some interesting layouts, including some with a raised rear bed. I assume that things like bicycles can be stored underneath. Here's an example.

Here are the others. Remember, when looking at these layouts that the driver's seat is on the opposite side from where it is in the US and Canada.

There are alot of variations on this layout, both on Sprinter and the Ducato/Promaster/etc.

I like the drop down bed idea and it seems to be quite popular on the German vans, as I've posted a few.

Definitely agree. So far safari combo seems to be the only North American supplier of this layout. Lots of advantages, very few drawbacks. I'll be buying one of these in 2016!

I like it better if the bed lifts all the way to the ceiling, and the area underneath is a lounge or bench seating. Ultimately, you can have a bed below and a bed above, or just the bed and seating below, or fold back the seating and have storage area. Definately one of my unicorns...

About a year ago, I saw a Sportsmobile upfit where they had a sealed cargo area just like the OP picture, some insulation, then a bed on top. The reason for this was so that a 10,000 watt Onan (yes, a 10kw unit) could be used in the van for oil field work, but still allow sleeping and other stuff while that monstrosity was running.

It doesn't have the flexibility of the Safari Condo, but if one wants a storage area, it is doable.
