Default First outing with my Roadtrek

We took our first trip in the 2000 Roadtrek. It was a 1-night, 140 mile excursion to Turner Falls, Oklahoma.
Impressions/Observations:

1 Vehicle drives pretty good, not as "tight" as my late model Toyota Camry though.
2 Cruise control works OK, it does overcompensate climbing modest grades though
3 Water pressure seemed low. Unsure if it was the campsite supply, or my pressure compensator, or other factors.
4 Had a water leak in the toilet supply line! .... apparently a Rube Goldberg setup with several connectors was used... all were loose! I am not quite sure how to properly remedy this deficiency, so I removed the commode, tightened all connections well and tested. (see picture) Seeing all was tight and dry, I added extra insurance by wrapping entire pipe assembly with self sealing silicone tape.
5 microwave and stovetop worked well.
6 roof vent is nice when it is too warm inside.
7 need to get a TV antenna.... wife missed NCIS!!!

Howzatt?!?!?

I think that's part of the fun, when you go out on your first trip, and see how everything works, or sometimes it doesn't. Ive had my Roadtrek for a few years now, and every trip seems to bring a new adventure with all the gadgets on board. It sure keeps me busy, and I like it. pretty soon , youll know how everything is put together, and how easy it is to repair it yourself,,,,, good luck,,,,

There's a campground about 5 miles from our house where we do all of our shake down cruises. 140 miles away from home on your first trip out? You are brave! Glad you got it all figured out.
