Default freshwater tank fill cap missing?

wondering if there should be a cap on my freshwater tank fill hole? it's for a 2019 sprinter / 2020 roadtrek agile... the location is inside the passenger door so it's basically covered when the door is closed but totally exposed when the door is open. not sure if that's the way it's supposed to be?

On Ebay - "Roadtrek red plugs for water holes Tapered 1.28 top 1.17 bottom Pull tab center" Seller is a Roadtreker.

If that doesn't work they are made by Caplugs, Erie Pa. You can request samples at: https://www.caplugs.com/center-pull-...d-plugs-cpt-nf
