Default Getting Ready to Pull the Trigger

On a 2022 Winnebago Travato, KL. We have a 2017.5 Travato. I will have to wait until May before it comes in and then drive to Iowa. Darn! Wish I had a crystal ball that worked!

Congrats!

Clearly you must have been pleased with Travato to order another one. Was the Volta lithium system to run air conditioning your key driver for ordering a new one?

Yes, we really like our Travato. The major reasons for the new one are the 4 season capabilities and the Pure3 Advanced Energy System with 12800 watt-hours of power. We can run the AC for the dog if we are away without a darn generator. My wife doesn't like the smaller windows (she still misses the Eurovan!) but she doesn't get involved in winterization like I do.

What do you get over the 2017.5?

Sorry, I don't understand the question.

There are many! One of the best, not listed below, a 7" Dash Radio/GPS replacing that tiny 5" with TomTom.

1. The addition of the fourth battery module from Volta Power Systems, allowing now for 12,800 watt hours of usable energy. All Pure 3 Travatos will also now include induction cooktops in lieu of LP rangetops

2. All new interior styling with your choice of Bleu with Weathered Teak, Walnut or Walnut with Matte White Upper cabinetry doors atop Italian Tecnoform cabinetry

3. Insulated floor, with vapor barrier and new flooring, with optional complete coach mat

4. Lagun table with dual mounting positions

5. Pop up power outlets from entry pedestal with Lagun table mount and Ram Mounts

6. New positive lock latching system for Italian Tecnoform cabinetry

7. Slideout kitchen extension

8. Wireless soundbar

9. Water systems management panel with improved winterization package and hot water recirculation

10. Monitor panels are now mounted above the sliding entry door

11. Updated kitchen and lavatory sinks and faucets, including the shower head

12. Wardrobe cabinet now includes pilasters and adjustable shelving with a redesign to the storage drawers for even more storage

13. Updated rear screen for easier entry and exit

14. Insulated rear window coverings with zippered openings

15. Rear annex rod and curtain between rear cargo doors, with additional attachment points interior to the cab

16. Simplified freshwater manifold system

17. European Zomi slat suspension bed platforms with new WinnSleep mattress that resists body heat, is made of healthy materials, and included anti microbial properties. Features dual twin beds, one at 28x74 and one at 28x80 that convert to a single 74x76 bed

18. Utilization of space around the water center for power cord storage

19. Relocate sewer hose storage near drainage valves

Sounds a lot like the Coachman Beyond I ordered and will be here in March. The Ford Transit chassis is what sold me. The Ford Sync3 system and all the drivers safety features tipped the scale.

Looks real nice! And the perfect length. I have found many places that 22' is the max allowed. Have fun!

Agree, my last one was a Sprinter chassis at slightly over 24’.
Can’t wait. Have a lot of places on my bucket list to see before my rocking chair days begin.

Would love to read your review on the performance of the lithium power and congrats on your new rig.
