Default Glass bottom RV

I am in the process of replacing the floor in my falcon 190. When I tore out the carpet I discovered only a thing piece of luan paneling separating me from the ground below. I am thinking about doing a 1/2 " treated plywood underlayment then adding a layer of some sort of thin insulating material and finishing the work with a vinyl simulated wood plank floor.
Has anyone done something similar? I am thinking about leaving the thin veneer (it's not rotted) then laying out the insulation followed by the 1/2" plywood and finally the vinyl
whaddaya all think men? My big mistake was that i had my wife with me when I discovered the subfloor and she freaked out just because she saw open road under our open bottom. Maybe I should just cover the bottom with plate glass for a real road experience, Like riding a Harley.... Women!

I had an infestation of carpenter ants on a upright piece of particle board on the upper step of my side door. It was wet so I pried it out and sprayed bug killer. solved that issue.
