A few pics from my trip of Key West and at Boyd's Campground. Last few were at Ft Myers Beach.
Boyd's was a great place. The Red Coconut kinda sucked. San Carlos RV Park was great.

I saw the add for them, but didn't go. I imagine it's quite the show. The bay I was paddling in was so clear you could easily see to the bottom.

Thanks. The weather was great for the most part. I went out paddling almost every day.

At first I didn't like the inflatable as it can be a snug fit. But I got some booties to wear on my feet and that freed up enough space in the thing for my feet and is much more comfortable. Actually, the inflatable is more stable on the water than my rigid boat, as it's a bit wider. It's also plenty rigid, and having the inflatable floor option makes it even more so. It's inherently a safer boat, as there are multiple chambers for floatation. Buy it here: http://www.advancedelements.com/advancedframe.html

At least a dozen people stopped by asking about it, as well as the van. Boyd's is a great park to use a kayak as there is a sandy beach area in which to launch it.

The weather station I also bought on Amazon and it's stuck on with heavy velcro. The outside sensor I stuck to the outside step. There is a space under the step where you can stick the sensor and when the step is retracted, the sensor is protected from the elements.

We carry two of those Advanced Element 10.5' inflatable kayaks. They were one of the first things we bought shortly after getting our first B after determining there was no way we were ever going to carry our hard shell sea kayaks. If there are better folding kayaks you would have to pay about four times as much. I noticed yours is blue. Is that a new color or is it different than the one you referenced?

The kayaks are very stable and they are great for local paddling around and exploring for a couple of hours. They are not to be confused with expedition traveling. The beauty is they fold up nicely into a small bag.

At the time I bought it - about a 1 1/2 years ago, they had a special edition package - it came with inflatable floor, a pump kit and the blue color. I take it they only made it a short time, hence the special edition. I see they now also have a 13' expedition model that looks interesting, but it must have a bigger storage bag. The 10' one is big enough and a lot to try to get back in the bag. Looking for a plastic wheeled tote that this boat will fit in, yet short enough to fit under the bed - trying to get it back in the bag is a RPITA.

I don't know what pump they gave you. I hope a double acting pump. A double acting pump can be reversed so you can suck out every bit of air in the chambers. That is a big plus for refolding.

I think it is. It's a big yellow pump with a bunch of attachments and a built in pressure gauge. Don't really know how to reverse the action on it. I've just opened the valves on the boat and tried to squeeze out the air.

I would assume you have this pump or similar.

http://www.rei.com/product/750495/advan ... -hand-pump

It is simple. Where the handle is there is a hose connection on both sides. You simply move the hose to the side that sucks air instead of blows air.

Been through Ft Myers. Retirement home heaven.
That's a great looking bike. Ignore the bad reviews.
Revelo makes the bike I was trying to remember. The LE 1. It's on sale for C$1299.
There are pics and a short video on their website, if anyone's interested. The current model doesn't fold but they're working on it. Only weighs 14kg, has a range of 30kms per charge, and full recharge can take 3 hours depending on SOC when plugged in.

I just received an email update from Revelo re their new folding e bike offering.
It's called the Flex and it's slightly lighter than its predecessor e bike. Couldn't find any pricing on it, but they offer pre - ordering. Odd without a price. I would imagine it's probably about the same as the LE 1. Maybe a bit more. Same website.
