Stage 1 Welding
The first stage of production takes place in our welding department. Once each unit is stripped and prepped, we begin the process by removing the 60/40 passenger side door. Only the larger part of the side passenger door is re-welded back in its stock location. This door acts as the side entrance door into the unit. This process enables us to maximize the space of the kitchen area. The supporting roof cage is then welded in to place.

I didn't know that!

"Reinforcing side body supports are welded in place in order to provide support for further installation. Since the Dodge Sprinter Chassis is a uni-body structure, modification to the stock chassis is very limited to allow Pleasure-Way fabrication."

"All Pleasure-Way Van Motorhomes are not produced on an assembly line. Each van motorhome is produced by a process called stall installation. This means that during the building of the interior, the van stays in one stall while the other departments such as plumbing, electrical, propane and cabinetry rotate through the van."
