Question Ground clearance, in inches

Does anyone know know the exact ground clearance for the RT 210 Popular, the RT 190 Popular, and the Pleasure Way Excel?

I have an 02 200 Chevy Popular. I did see someone did a 5 inch lift on a 190 Chevy, I do not remember the year and they had 10.5 inch of ground clearance, my 200 has 10 inch of ground clearance without a lift! The 200 is built on a cut a way ie box truck frame, the 190 is a van.

Where is the ground clearance measured from? The pumpkin is usually the lowest point, dump valves next. I asked the 190 owner to measure from the bottom of the running board to the ground under the driver, which is where I measured from to make things easy.

Our 2015 210P lowest point to the ground is the macerator skid cover, at 5.5”, whereas our 2003 Dodge 190P lowest point is 9 inches. Some people also mention that the fresh water drain on their 210 is the lowest point- on ours I believe it’s the same as the macerator height. Neither of our fans have any suspension mods.

Best option is to get down in front of the van and have a look at the underside to see what the lowers point is - often with the Chevy models, the rear axle pumpkin is not the lowest point, nor is the ground effects, it’ll be the fresh water drain or the macerator pump skid cover.

I raised my 2006 210P by 2-inches back in 2011. This is a highly recommended mod with many posts in this forum. Even lifted, I managed to break the fresh water drain. However I am sure that I have avoided many underbody impacts by having it raised.

Yes, we just purchased our 210 a few months ago and I’m not looking to inject more $ yet via a lift, but one thing I will be doing this spring when we get it back out of storage is to modify the fresh water drain to reduce the risk of breakage - a piece of flex hose or something to help ensure that an accidental strike doesn’t bust off the fitting to the tank.

Must vary by year and model, my 02 Chevy 200P the waste
drain pipe is 2 inch lower than the fresh water tank drain.
