So I just brought the SE home today, here are some pics. I am glad I pulled the trigger on the purchase. Warm weather calls!

I get cherry for its warmth or white for creating a heightened sense of space, but ebony? I don't get it.

I've seen that finish. Not what we chose, but it is quite striking in a modernist sort of way. I definitely get it.

cshetl: Thanks for the pics. You must be excited to get on the road. (We all know what that feels like).

What kind of inverter/battery setup did it come with?

Hi Avanti, it came with a 2K inverter and 2 AGMs and one solar panel. I'm going to add another panel. I was happily surprised to see it also has a SeeLevel tank monitoring system. And a rain sensing Fantastic Fan. Has a wifi and cell booster too. Looks like it was pretty loaded. I was going to see about adding underhood generator and ditching the propane... but, I have decided against it. I like redundancy when it comes to electricity... for now at least.

Nice! GWV tended not to scrimp.

I added a second alternator, (and two more batteries) but we like redundancy, too, so I have never been able to bring myself to pull out the Onan. Not sure how many years of non-use it will take. Even if I do, I don't think I will pull the propane. It is a simple, trouble-free system and a gas cooktop is still the best, no matter what the induction people say (for one thing, I can make toast). I haven't filled the tank in a year and it is still at 90%, so I doubt I will every have to refill it.
