Default Vanna White???

I was going to name our White 2016 CS Adventurous from Roadtrek "Vanna White", seemed funny and appropriate but alas someone else had christened their RV by the same name and my Better Half nixed the idea anyways.

So I came up with another idea, Don't know if is a real name, but I ordered a Vanity License Plate from the CA DMV.

Leila, (My wife of 32 years!) is from the Philippines and among many of her culinary talents she is probably one of the best Lumpia makers in Southern California. Lumpia is a very popular Filipino Egg Roll that looks more like a taquito and is stuffed with a variety of vegetable/meat mixtures. Suffices to say they are really good.

We also have a good sized fridge/freezer in our CS so we can now carry a supply of freshly made frozen Lumpias when we travel, making many of our friends and relatives very happy to see us we we come to visit.

So our license plate reads "LUMPIAS"!

That has turned the head of many a Filipino Gas Station attendant (and other fortunate people who have sampled this delectable delight in the past) when we pull in for a fresh tank of diesel!

What have named our white 2015 Roadtrek CS Adventurous? Well, we had all the decals removed so no names except on the rear door and the ubiquitous three fake windows on the "brow". Our grandkids have started calling it the "plumber's van" but we still call it the motor home or the Sprinter or when it acts up with the DEF we call it something else . . .

Well, we finally figured it out.

We have a blue Crossfit so we started with all of the names for the color blue and things that are blue, like Azure, Bluebell, Indigo...

Or names that recall an evening sky, like Starry Night, Stella, Nocturne, Polaris...

But then we started talking about how everyone (including us) wants their van to be bigger on the inside than on the outside: "I want a full kitchen, recliner, big screen TV, soaking tub and two king-sized beds...while still being able to park in a spot at Walmart marked "compact"...

Well, after thinking about it, we decided our van really IS bigger on the inside than the outside - after all, they fit a WHOLE HOUSE in there (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, dining room)...

And, furthermore, after we've spent a few days in it, we feel like we're getting YOUNGER...

So we are pretty sure we have stumbled across a Time Lord's TARDIS.

So THAT'S what we're going to call it.

We were also going to call our RV VANGO like a previous poster but we decided to name it OAPS (soaps without the s) reason we are both EXpats from England and an old English version of a senior citizen on social security was Old Age Pensioner so our plate is 2UKOAPS and the van's name is "OAPS"

Well, our old 94 210P was "Beethoven" as in Camper Van.... The nice folks we sold it to are keeping the name so we had to come up with something other than B II. So we landed on Morrison, as in Van...

We're musicians of course. (Some of you might not be familiar with David Lowery's early 90's group , but you all know Van Morrison)
