How do I turn off my rear speakers?

Hi folks, I have a 2003 Roadtrek Popular 190. Does anyone know how to turn off the rear speakers? The owners manual says to press audio then scroll to fad (fade). When I press audio my options are bal (balance), bas (bass), or tre (treble). There is no fad. I called Roadtrek in Canada and the gentleman could not find an answer. He told me to call Chevy. They tell me to call
Roadtrek. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much for the link Hondo and for reaching out. I do have the owners manual and have followed the instructions on page 3-43. My roadblock is that there is no fad as I go through the menu on audio. It's just missing. I don't know if the radio was never programmed with fad on this model or just mine. When I run through the audio program I only get bal, bas, and tre. No fad ever comes up to choose. I know that as a last resort I can open the speaker panel in the back and disconnect the speaker wire but I would rather not. Thanks again.

Seems your RV was shipped with a lower price-point radio.

Have you considered replacing it? One of the first things I did when I got my used Class B was to replace the Becker OEM unit with a better radio. My goal was to get an aux-in port, and I've been very happy with the results.

If you're thinking of going that route, I recommend Crutchfield, where I bought mine.

Thanks rvsprinterguy. You probably have hit the nail on the head. A cheaper radio than is in the owners manual that does not have a fade feature. Aw shucks!!! I almost had a new radio put in by Car Toys this spring when I added a blue tooth. At the last minute I decided to keep my original radio and had them add the blue tooth to the system I already have. I love the look of my dash and the new radio would make it look so modified. Since I don't want to change out the radio I'm just going to take the rear panel off and disconnect the speaker wire. Thanks everyone for the input!
