Default How to buy Truma part

Have any of you had success in getting hold of Truma replacement parts? The nearest PW dealer tells me that Truma won't allow them to sell me a part unless they install it. It's odd, because they've gotten parts for me in the past.

I'm well out of warranty, by the way.

Incidentally, in the past I've called Truma directly and they absolutely won't sell anything but decalcification tablets to me.

Default Geting staff from GB

Perhaps this company can help you https://www.leisureshopdirect.com/ga...es/truma-fires, another one is Heatso also from England. I don't think they carry Truma but they can help to direct you to a right place. With BP getting hammered by Brexit getting goodies from GB is getting less expensive. I purchased a few thinks for my Eberspacher. https://www.heatso.com/water-heaters/

The fundamental problem I have with my Truma water heater is a personal aversion to RV dealers. The appliance works fine; I just want to have it upgraded but don't want to drop my rig off at a dealer, then pray it'll only take a week to do a one- or two-hour job.

I intended to make this a DIY project, but the impossibility of purchasing Truma parts sort of mitigated against that. Quite by accident, I discovered that Truma has a newly-minted mobile service in my area (So Cal), so I'll fold my hand and go that route.
