Default Images of Roadtrek 190 with lower fiberglass skirt removed

Interested in seeing what my rig would look like with not only the fiberglass door panels* removed but more importantly, the whole lower fiberglass that covers the tanks & bumpers removed.

*I have already found many photos that show the door panels removed.

As it is, I have two claims into AAA for damage that happened (Hit & Run here in Los Angeles) during Covid & the Roadtrek saga* where both bumpers are cracked but also a couple of side panels & lower supports.

*took it to the local Roadtrek dealer but couldn't get an answer.

Two other times over 10 years when I had lower fairings repaired, they tried to write off the rig for Salvage Value & it was a battle - this time I might let them do it, buy the rig back, take off the vulnerable skirts & drive without them.

These photos included are NOT of my rig but it's same year & only show the even more vulnerable door panels removed

I do know that I would probably lose the valuable storage on the driver's side if removed.

That area will look very much like a Roadtrek 190 Simplicity, I think. AFAIR they all came without the door cladding a bumper covers.

Booster,

I just looked at a couple Simplicity images & it appears they have a different skirt - I am assuming it's going to be ugly underneath on my 190 but anytime they touch those lower panels, its a $15,000 insurance bill

They do have the behind the rear wheels pieces gone also, probably because those are made to blend to the bumper cover. The running board it self could be a bit different, probably at the upper edge where would meet the door panel if it had them.

There is also the thing that there was a change in all the skirting, I think somewhere around 2006 or 2007, so that might make it different than an older one.

Food for thought ... Mobilife RV in Kitchener, Ontario has an inventory of Roadtrek parts from the "good old days".

I was thinking this time. I will let them bully me into a Salvage Deal, writing me a check for $30k & buying it back for $5k
