Default INTERIOR WATER FILL

Hello and new to this forum. quick question. never had a rv with an interior water fill. the noise from the air vent is indeed intesting. Any good ways to make that go away? 2001 Roadtrek 200 popular. Thank you.

Isn't the water-fill in the door jam, not inside the vehicle?

Are you speaking of the gurgling noises coming from the water tank, when you are adding water to the tanks?

sometimes, when my forward tank isn't full, i hear a gurgling sound from the overflow/air vent over my left shoulder, when i come to a stop or otherwise cause the water to slosh. i don't think there's any way to overcome the noise.

I have heard the sloshing noises in the forward tank also (when not full), but the only gurgling noise I ever hear are only when filling the tanks. The sloshing noise is definitely a new experience for us, as we have never owned an RV before the end of 2009. I assumed it was part of the Class B experience, like listening to all the little rattles and squeaks, when driving.

Thanks for the feedback. Just returned form a 3 k mile trip. The water fill on the 01 200 is interior and on the first entrance step. In a door jam makes much more sense. O well, as it get near the half way point it is much better. Sound makes you hungry and I would say a part of the overall experience.

The air vent on the water fill cap is really small, maybe you can plug that hole to eliminate that annoying sound. The tank has an overflow outlet, thats more than enough for a vent? just a thought.
