Default Lazy way tank flushing

I tried a different method of grey and black tank flushing today, and was pretty surprised and happy with how easy and well it went.

Important to note that we have a macerator and SeeLevel tank guages, which is important.

Short story is to put the macerator discharge to dump station or sewer connection and then put a garden hose in the toilet just past the flush damper, which will hold it in place. Pump out both tanks as normal, then open both valves at the same time with the pump off. Turn on the hose to about 2gpm or so (1/2 way?) and watch the tank gauge for the black tank or grey tank. Black best for us as is more linear. When the tank(s) get to 25% run the pump until level goes to zero or pump speeds up, then repeat. Then let the tank fill to 100%, shut off water into toilet and pump out both tanks together. Done.

About 1/5th the time it took with buckets and did a better job. By the second pump out, all the soap bubbles were gone from the pump out water, which never would go away with the bucket routine. Really easy.

NO WAY WOULD I TRY THIS WITH THE IDIOT LIGHT LEVEL SENSORS AS THE POSSIBILITY OF A BLACK TANK OVERFLOW INTO THE VAN WOULD REALLY BE UGLY.
