Default My 1st RV pleasureway Lextor

hello all RVers well after years of searching I finially was able to find a chevy express van type RV
she's a 04 chevy express 3500 pleasure way Lextor mot sure of the last 2 inials.
I think this will be a natural progression for me bc I've always used chevy 1500 conversion vans as tow vehicles for my deepsea fishing vessel.
1.I have driven a few 3500 cargos and didn't like the stifness of suspension.I have never driven or ridden in a 3500 RV. hope the PW has soft suspension?

purchased on net w/out any inspections saw it an bought right away.
2.I believe the roofs AC fiberglass case has been smashed and flew off,
another 04 last 2 images and it has the AC case covering the rear section of AC.
3.one of my destinations is Kelly Plantation, Destin,FL the home has a HOA and they are totally anal they will allow me to park the boat in driveway or street for one day a year, the rest of the stay I must leave boat at the tennis courts parking lot an have it gone by 8am.
so I hope there's not a issue w/ a roof AC bc I understand this AC makes the van a RV.I won't ask but just backup where it's difficult to see the rear.
what do you Guys think is the AC case missing? w/out case is there water intrusion?
Purchased last Sunday morning I pick her up this Monday (she's 520 miles from home) if everything goes according to plan.
4. my main concern is rusted frame, she has a Massachusetts title w/ 110K miles.
I have many ?s but will limit them to this for right now, been watching videos breifly read the owners manual I down load of net it's very breif and zero images.
I'm so anixous I could burst.I've worked nation wide in telephony network building over 22years of hotels, I'm dune w/ that nonsense now.
1st 2 images is my RV

thanks for advice TB

if it is a TD it will have twin/dual sofas which turn into 1 large or twin beds. the electrics will be under the Pass side bed.

if a TS is has a converting sofa across the back with the electrics underneath.

A/C covers available online once you know which model AC you have

08/09 Chevy Lexor TS The cover for the AC is obviously needed, but the back section, see photo, is just for show

PW Lexor RD owners manal doesn't mention manufactor of AC they do everyother appliance. I will climb up there get name an report back.

btw when I picked up the van 3 days ago the brakes needed repair before I could drive the 520 miles home so I was forced to sleep in RV w/ a missing roofs fan lid it blew off.
I was a tad cold. more importantly I hit my head a few time on that dam AC.
it will take time to learn to duck then sit or stand.
I would actually prefer a 5KBTU household type window AC
tucked up higher.are HH ACs durable enough?the condensasion drain mite be diffacult.
thanks
