Default New to B motorhomes

As the title states, I am new to both the forum and the class B motorhome. I have found a 2012 Winnebago ERA70X for sale locally. I'm hoping all of the collective knowledge here will share the good, the bad and the rest of the story about this unit. It has only 19000 miles on if it has been sitting for a while. Inside looks great, outside needs attention to clean and detail.
What are the plusses and minuses of this unit?

Thanks;

Jim (looking hard)

I can't help you with your question but I did want to welcome you here. There are some very knowledgeable people here and I am sure you will find someone who knows that unit. I will say Winnebago is a good name with a long history.

Thanks for the response. This forum seems very similar to other forums to which I belong. Great info from giving and caring folks.
Thanks again NAD see you down the road.

Default New to B motorhomes

Welcome to the B world!
I looked closely at the ERA before I bought my Airstream. The ERA offers good value and would have been my choice, but my wife liked the ascetics of the Airstream. The only caution I can offer is the condition of the batteries if it has been sitting for a long time unused. That mileage is fairly low so that is good.

Batteries are pretty easy to replace, and not too expensive.

It's a 2012 so it can't have been sitting for too long, but just like buying a car make sure you check the tires for dry rot from sitting. Try to find out why it's been sitting, there may be a problem or it could just be that the B wasn't for them.

Also check for mice
