Still looks fairly useable with the boat in it.At least you can use the bathroom. Do you have a pic of the boat assembled we could see?

Thinking about selling it if someone out there wants it. Looking for something I can easily carry in the Travato that is suitable for my move-every-day style. Probably an inflatable. Used to strap the boat to the top of a minivan, but no longer have that capability.
Comes with two oars and the oar locks, a transom rated to hold a 50 lb motor, front end cap (not shown in pictures), and two straps for mounting to a roof rack.
Worked great with a 6 HP Johnson outboard motor that weighs 52 lbs. Stable in the water.

This is the one I just sold this month. It's a 10'. Great boats but not really portable. I could never figure out how to take it camping. Too bulky and too many pieces. It was great at local lakes where I could just toss it in the back of my PU truck.

I like the square stern on yours. Better design. Mine's a 24-year-old version which I believe they no longer make. The 12' was more boat than I needed. Even 10' would be too much. They make an 8 footer.

Amazing that the boat fits in the Travato. I don't think any other van could hold it and still be functional.

I am trying to negotiate the price on a 2016 tavato 59 k base model. I can get it for 74k without a problem. Has any one succeded in bringing the price down below that?

Perdi, figure 22 to 25% off on any WGO product. Any less and you're overpaying

Not that I've heard of. Haven't checked with dead guys though - but I suspect they aren't as good at negotiating.

Thanks for sharing your story, and checking back in. I'm having the similar dillema as you did a year ago, but I am not torn between models because the Travato G is the only one I've seen that meets all my criteria. My dillema is between waiting and buying a Travato, or buying a Promaster now and doing a self build. My wifes truck was totaled by a mouse Sunday, so that's added a little more confusion to the mix of which vehicle to buy when....

With the colder weather coming and vacation season winding down, you may be able to negotiate a better deal now. I ordered a 59G with most of the upgrades, including 2 solar panels in July for about 74k, but now that delivery is back to Oct, I should have waited for maybe a better deal. Most dealers selling 59k were asking mid 70s to low 80s before negotiations. Good luck!

yes. I am assuming that's what it was... A mouse, or a rat, or a squirrel building a nest of grass on top of the manifold... I guess it could have just been faulty wiring, but my guess is rodent.
Maybe the insurance adjuster will have a clue..

No, it was a 2016 with all the newer changes, tho I did not get the kayak rack.. They had a 2015 loaded in red which could be had for about $65k, offered at $67k, but I opted to get a new one from Iowa after seeing stains on the "new" mattress, ugh! So I am not paying any delivery costs, but will pay sales tax when I return to Ca. Btw, I will take a road trip by car, with my dog, and then hit some NP on the return journey. But I do get a new coach with less than 20 miles on it, and I am sure it will be broken in properly, which was important to me. Hopefully there will be a larger selections of 59g as it appears the factory has been churning out more 59ks for the rollout.

Would that be lichtsinn in iowa?
Their best offer to me is 74k for a base 59k or 77k for the diesel version. Since this is not an emergency purchase, I'm just going to wait for a much better price from any dealer anywhere.
