Do you know of any others out there?

Another magazine here.

I saw this link posted by Sammie on the Roadtrek forum:

http://www.rvlife-digital.com/rvlife/20 ... =texterity

There's an article on page 8 about Grace Cota. She's 72 and full timing in her 1995 Chevrolet Class B Falcon.

The online Feb 2009 issue of MotorHome Magazine has the 2009 Dinghy Guide:

http://online.qmags.com/MTHM0209/Default.aspx

I know some "B" owners are wondering what a "dinghy" is.........

Some B's are now 24' long so I wouldn't be surprised to see them pulling a "toad".

The Honda Fit and the Smart for Two are both "flat" towable (4 wheels on the ground) that have automatic transmissions.

Smart for two

Roadtrek Yahoo Group member kipper10000 tows a manual transmission Toyota Corolla with his 2004 Roadtrek 190P (Chevrolet van).

Thanks for posting this up. I had a look and my SUV isn't towable, but my wife's coupe is. If we ever decide to try it.
How's the weather out your way? Settling down yet? From snow to rain and beyond, I think you're on the island, but the mainland gets all the publicity.

The snow has melted here but you're right about the rain. Yesterday was one of the grayest days I can remember. It's not raining today

I noticed under the archive button on the Feb 2009 MotorHome Magazine http://online.qmags.com/MTHM0209/Default.aspx that you can look at magazines from October 2007 to present and if you click the save button you can download the magazine as a pdf file.

I'm glad to hear there'll still be some nice stuff to look at if we ever get out that way!!!!
Good to hear the weather has improved. We're just sitting here bracing for the Arctic air mass that's on it's way to central and eastern Canada later this week. Gonna be some fun, NOT!!!
I actually had to open 2 pdf files to find the 2002-3 models that could be towed or not. Pretty simple with PDF Download in Firefox. You get to choose how to deal with PDF files (open/download/view as HTML, etc.). It's a very nice browser when equipped with a few select add ons.
While you're here, I was thinking about how to get input from all the forumites in one long scrollable thread, about where we've been with shared info on what the weather was like and more importantly, what the crowds were like at the time. I suppose I could go through the entire "PLACES" section, and I will eventually anyway, but would it be possible to start something like that, sort of a mini trip report with maybe 4 headings, WHERE, WHEN, WEATHER, CROWD DENSITY or something along those lines? It might be a big help to those of us who haven't been to some of the places, but plan to in the future. Just a thought.

Take care,
Mike.

Places & Routes is the right area for trip reports. Your mini trip report is a great idea. You could start a new topic in Places & Routes such as "Where have you been?" or "List your five favorite places" or something similar and ask that responders note 1.Where, 2.When, 3.Weather & 4. Crowd Density. That would an interesting thread to read.
