Default Outdoor shower leak - help needed!

Hey All,
Finally got around to filling up the water tanks and noticed a pool underneath the van. Opened up the driver side storage compartment and noticed that the cold water faucet handle for the outdoor shower had somehow broken off and was now leaking water everywhere. Unfortunately it also broke off a piece of the interior (where the faucet handle screws into) so it may not be as easy as just purchasing another faucet handle. I've attached pics for reference. Does anyone have suggestions on how to remove the cold and hot water handles/the plate behind them? Thanks guys!!

Default We do use our Outdoor Shower

Hi Want a B,
We do use the outdoor shower. Additionally, the outdoor shower will continue to leak if we're using any of the items that rely on the water pump (indoor shower, kitchen, etc).

Do you want to replace yourself or take to an RV shop? Go to an RV store and look at plumbing department for replacement of whole assembly and ask questions on how to replace.

Hi mlogan,
We were hoping for advice on how to fix it and what to purchase without needing to go to the RV dealership.

I think you'll have to replace the shower assembly, which is not hard or expensive. Find the access to back of the panel to which it's mounted. The assembly is usually held in place with plastic nuts on the supply lines.

yes, in my van all that is accessible from the inside removing the driver side bed platform

It's probably a Phoenix faucet with a vacuum breaker instead of a spud. Take some measurements of the fitting spacing to confirm that it isn't a residential unit.

When our Pleasure-Way Excel was side swiped, the outside shower door was ripped off. They tried to find a replacement door but were forced to replace the entire piece, taps and all.

This is an example of what you’ll need for a replacement. They’re plastic and from the ur pic it’s not a repairable item. They are generally easy to replace..
