Default Overhaulin'

I sometimes watch a tv program called "Overhaulin'" - I like the look of the product that their crew turns-out (tho I seriously doubt the quality with but 1 week's work).

Was thinking, however, wouldn't it be nifty if some "deserving" owner of an older class b was the recipient of the crew's work ?

I don't know anyone who would "fit the bill" but I think I'll look into the possibility..

I thought about that myself. It would be nice to see an overhaul of an RV instead of the cars and trucks they do. Just think what they could do with a nice "B". If you can think of a good story to tell them, you can try it. When I looked into it, they were not accepting any more request because the season was already scheduled.

I went to the Overhaulin' site and they've got an on-line application (to be the "mark") section.

I'm probably not destitute enough to be considered and my Van is in great shape but there's gotta be someone "out there" who would really appreciate some help with their "ride".

When I've got a minute I'll see if they've got a "contact" number or address - and ask if they'd be interested if someone could be found - perhaps readers here could keep an eye out for a candidate too..

Would be great to see what Foose could do with a Class B

Sent a letter to the show's producers, along with photos and other stuff, as per the site's requirement - added a letter of explanation.

Will be interesting to see in they're at all interested in the Van thingie..

I don't know if they would come to Canada for a show. I also think you have to pay some of the repair costs of your vehicle but it's been a while since I looked into it.

I used to enjoy watching that show.... I don't think I get it with my current cable package. I would have loved for them to take my Roadtrek and 'Overhaul' it!

I envisioned hydraulics in the suspension, maybe make it 4x4

Here are some photos of a VW Camper Makeover from the Pimp My Ride UK Show (not the US show)

Saw an episode on Overhaulin' where they did a VW Bus (not a camper) - don't remember much about it.

IF they show any interest I'll be sure and come up on your site and let everyone know - perhaps we could find a candidate/vehicle and suggestions for the re-do.

I think it would make for a nifty episode

The episode with the VW mini-bus is on right now on TLC in Canada.

I watched it. I've seen other Overhaulin' episodes, and the VW one wasn't that great.
All they really did to it was clean it up a bit.
"VW Concept Van", I think not.
