Default Propane system Agile SS

I would like to be able to supply the propane system of a Roadtrek Agile SS with a 100# tank that I will carry in a cargo trailer. Is there a way to connect a 100 # tank to the outdoor grill fittings on the Agile? Or must a pigtail be connected where the internal tank is housed?

Thanks.

Default Re: Propane system Agile SS

I can't help you re: the SS-Agile but maybe this will help.

I added a fitting on the propane tank on my Class C. I think it was named Extend-a-stay. It was simple to do. It allows me to run all RV propane systems from a regular BBQ propane tank or, of course, the regular built-in propane tank. There are two models. One also allows you connect BBQ's etc. that run off 1lb propane bottles. That is the model Extend-a-stay I have.

It's handy if you will be staying in a spot and don't want to move. I stayed in my RV in winter and it is much easier to exchange a BBQ tank than it is to move the RV to get propane especially when there's a lot snow on the ground!

It was an easy install. I disconnected the hose supplying the RV then added the "extend-a-stay" and reconnected the RV hose. I sprayed all fittings with soapy water to check for leaks. No bubbles, no leaks.
