Cool RT Zion Changes for 2016?

Besides the new shorter SRT model, does anyone know what changes were made to the standard 21' 2016 Zion, compared to the 2015 model?

There are some deals out there on the 2015 Zions right now. I'm fine with AGM batteries as long as the battery pack is at least 400 AMP with solar charging. The under hood generator also appeals to my projected use patterns, as well as to my desire for efficiency and simplicity.

Although I'm still leaning towards the Travato 59G or possibly a WBO Fuse, I want to explore all options.

Did the Zion get more batteries? It used to be around 180AH iirc. The model # of the battery was 400 or something like that.

i have a zion. the battery is not 400 amp hour. its a Northstar sms 400 agm in which the 400 refers to reserve capacity minutes. it is a 186 amp hour thin plate pure lead battery. its about the equivelent of 220 amp hour standard agm

The Zion brochure has no model year on it and appears to be from April of 2015.

What year is your Zion and how do you like the under hood generator?

Thank you in advance.

This article was posted in the Roadtrek Owners group:

Roadtrek is Featuring ‘Alde’ Boiler System in B’s | RV Business

It mentions a third model... the Zion Link. No clue as to what it is. Perhaps a link between Roadtrek and Hymer since that news also just came out.

There's another press release on that which mentions "the brand new Zion Link which will be on display at the Roadtrek booth in Louisville". So yeah, sounds like a new model.

Any particular reason they went with Alde? As far as I have read, I have seen nothing but praise over the Truma Combi system, although its only downside is that it only works for smaller RVs... so ideal for a class B, especially once Truma starts making the Combi D this side of the pond which can run the water heater and furnace off the diesel tank.

It should be a plan similar to 59k. Name is interesting choice. Maybe it "links" them to Hymer.
