Default Sally the 1995 Pleasure-Way

Hey All -

I posted here a while back while we were shopping for a Class B. We ended up with a 1995 Pleasure Way SRL. It had 68K miles and was a two-owner rig. She's mechanically sound but cosmetically needs some love.

We've been fulltime in it for just over a month, and so far have:
  • Removed running boards
  • Restored faded/yellow headlights
  • Changed out all interior lights to LED
  • Changed out most exterior lights to LED
  • Ordered / installed new hubcaps
  • Polished trim rings / front bumper / grill
  • Restored black bumpers/mirrors/door handles
  • 4.5 hours with upholstery cleaner on carpets and seating
  • Cut new front floor mats
  • Powerwashed entire exterior
  • Replaced foam in all rear dinette/bed cushions
  • Made a bed extension
  • Cleaned all interior cabinets
  • Installed compass
  • Repaired some loose trim
  • Researched / attempted fix of dash AC drain issue
  • Removed flat-screen TV
  • Moved keyholder rack
  • Straightened (or “combed”) the A/C fins - 60-70% of them were smooshed and blocking airflow
  • Installed a real clothes bar in the wardrobe
  • Spent 3 days buffing the exterior paint
  • Built a device charging center
  • Replaced smoke, LP and CO2 detectors
  • Added baskets for storage in the bathroom
  • Added a slew of Command hooks for storage in the bathroom
  • Hung mesh shopping bags for fruit and veggie storage
  • Organized clothes using packing cubes
  • Installed BFG AT tires
  • Installed 2" wheel spacers on the rear to cure the horrible sway
  • Changed the oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and rear diff gear oil

There's probably more.. The paint is still rough. We're going to touch up as best we can and live with it a while. I also have left turn signal not working but spotted a rat's nest of wiring back by the hitch and suspect that's the cause.

Anyway - I'm documenting our build and life in the van over at
