Default Securing the Roadtrek Bed Board

Searching for this on the message board and cannot find anything. So I recently purchased a 2016 Roadtrek 210 Popular and I cannot figure out how to secure the bed board that stores in the rear passenger side under the cushion under the tv.

I’m guessing that there was once some way that this boars was stored so that it didn’t go sliding out during turns but that mechanism is gone. I can rig something but was curious what was originally there. The board has two notches which secure it when in the king bed center position. Any photos or suggestions showing the way this board is secured when traveling would be appreciated.

We just never worried about it. We use a piece of no slip material under it and store it under the mattress. Never been a problem.

Thanks. That’s a good simple fix! I was curious what came stock with the vehicle.

The one on my 2014 190P came with little non-skid buttons on the corners. No positive latch. I've been replacing them as they fall off, but it's a losing battle. A piece of non-skid shelf liner would work just as well, and it can't disappear like those little buttons.

My 12C190P came with the bed board and the table. The table has the post holder mounted on the bottom and when stored goes into the "hole" under cushion. I scrapped the table and did this. The table seemed redundant.

Interesting. We did it the other way and parked the bed filler board at home, because we use the "twin" bed configuration.

Most often we use the twin bed setup, but sometimes we take our grandson along, so the full bed is needed.

I am seeing two of those small clear rubber buttons but they look as if they have moved from their original position and are not doing the job. I like the non-skid shelf fabric idea. I’m also seeing some remnants of Velcro and wondered if the previous owner used a strap.

On my 08C210, the bed board goes up against the closet wall and there is a clip mounted on the wall that turns and holds it in place. I'd take a pic but she is in the shop right now.

Thanks to all of you for your responses. I purchased some non-skid fabric and it is working great.
