Default Some Dometic Stats

This is not to support one side or the other. But I promised some stats on my Dometic 3-way on our trip from Phoenix to the White Mountains in Arizona and here they are.

Dometic RM2310 3-way
Date of mfg: 1996 (Age 24 years)
Service history: No repairs. Flipped in 2017. LP lines blown out.
Electronics: None. This year Dometic has snap piezo lighter. No circuit board.
Modifications: Additional insulation around unit, taped with metal tape to seal sides/top from rear. This year PW has both the bottom and top exterior side vents. Two 5-inch fans placed in upper vent to suck air through lower and out.

June 20 6:00pm unit started on 120v. Outside temp [OT] =100, inside fridge [IFT] = 96.

June 21
7:00am [OT] = 82, [IFT] = 36
noon [OT] = 97, [IFT] = 40
3:00pm [OT] = 103, [IFT] = 46
June 22
9:30am [OT] = 83, [IFT] = 38 Loaded fridge, departed on 12v
2:30pm [OT] = 84, [IFT] = 38 fridge maintained temp on 12v
June 23+24
Fridge maintained 36-38 degrees on propane in White mountains; elevation 9000. Daytime temps in mid 80s; night time temps in 50s
June 25
Return home to Phoenix on 12v. Temps over 100 in Phx. Fridge on arriving still at 38. 5 hour drive.

This is similar to what I see & expect 60~65 degrees cooling below ambient temperatures

No. It was very nice. Hiked the Indian Springs trail off of 249e. Only went as far as Spillman springs but then hiked up to the lookout tower. We drove up through Salt River Canyon to Showlow but then came back on the 87 out of Payson. Fire has really hit hard. Much of the east side of 87 badly burned. West side basically untouched. A real shame.
