Default Tampa RV Show

Anyone planning to attend the Florida RV Show in Tampa?

Any new Class B introductions worth the trip?

I guess that depends on whether you think Roadtrek's two new models would be worth seeing. To me that's about as exciting as Monster releasing a new flavor energy drink.

I would go just to see the new class C from Leisure Travel on the new Ford Transit. The photos look great.

The Tampa show should be good for anyone interested in Class B's. I don't know which companies are there this year though.

If my memory is correct, Advanced RV made their debut there.

I did notice on the map - separate and away from RT - the Erwin Hymer Group will be there.

One thing is sure, RT has a very secretive way of dealing with PR, promotion and marketing! Still looking for more photos and details about their Tampa launch of the new Zions. Found only one photo from the Roadtreking Facebook group. Is it that hard to post pictures of their new and announced conversions?

A comment from the person who took the photo !!!
...I'm still on the hunt for the Zion Simplicity. I didn't find it this am (-;

The Zion Link that was photographed was not on display, it was away from the display and had some items that needed to be installed before it went in display.

But, didn't the show already started? Was it the first day today?

Not unusual for units to be added to the displays during the show and for some to be sold and replaced by others.

Maybe they want to stage a special event tomorrow.

I'm sure they are reading our few comments and thinking that the blogosphere is all atwitter with excitement and anticipation!

My excitement level is at "meh', or thereabouts.

For now, all we know is that they have a stand, and there's a dog in front of it.

This morning post on the Roadtreking FB group

Finally unveiled!

The new Zion Link
Photos by Sue Valentine

OMG!
What a deception!

They should definitely get help from Hymer's designers!

Maybe that's their new "vintage" look!
The layout is worth considering, but the design of this whole contraption is appalling.

UPDATE: ...and we now understand (with the very informative video by Sue Valentine) why RT was so secretive about this LINK. It's definitely not ready to be unveiled!

And based on past history they will take orders and ship immediately, and then fix them.

It's sad to see a company, that was first on the charts, with such an unprofessional attitude.

It was comical at first but now it is cringe worthy. The thing is if their prices were lower than others we would be praising them for putting out so many nice "budget" models.
