Default TV In LTVan

Need help with getting a TV to work or replace if anyone can answer my question please?

My TV is on loud static and the only way to stop it is by pulling the fuse. Have changed the batteries in the remote, played with the antenna but to no avail.
Have taken it to Leisure Days and they did not know how to fix it.

Thank you

Give us more info VanGo.

12v TV or powered by an inverter?

Is there static for over-the-air tv, cable and DVD/VCR?

Does it help if you're plugged into grid power?

Is it a "new" problem?

If so, check anything/everything modified or added to your van for being a source of interference.

I'd check the battery and all ground connections to make sure there is no corrosion and that the wires aren't loose.

An RF choke on the DC line to the TV might be an inexpensive fix. Something like this:

I'm not sure if there are specific 12v RF chokes.

Have you tried different input sources like a VCR or DVD player?

Do you get a picture on any channel? Clear/fuzzy/or just snowy screen and static? On all channels?
Are you analog or digital (NTSC or ATSC) and is your tuner internal to the TV or an add on like mine.
Here's a link (no idea if it will help your situation) with some info on TV connections and adding an ATSC
tuner to an analog setup. There may be something in it that "rings a bell" for you.

Good luck and keep us posted, there's lots of experience on here for all kinds of problems,
