Yup, built in the 1970's by the same folks from Airstream. They probably come with an abacus and sextant in the glove compartment to calculate mileage and find positioning on street maps.

You can give a try at controlling the content of the responses but as you have already seen that is similar to herding cats...

2008 Gulfstream Yellowstone

Short 22" Class B+ (C) on a Ford E350 Chassis with a V10 engine. What's interesting is they installed 4wd and raised the clearance. Dunno how the insulation would work for winter camping, but this rig should take the back country roads with no problem.

FYI, I went to the Pomona RV show and ran into James from the FitRV. He told me Winnebago just started incorporating some of his modifications to their Travato line. The latest 2016.5 models now come with all water lines routed within the heated interior spaces for both the 59G and 59K models. This should go a long way towards coming closer towards a 4 season Class B rig.

Did he mention whether WGO has any plans to offer an underhood alternator/inverter?

No mention of the under hood alternator. However he was excited by their new detachable ladder that can be re-hooked to the roof rack on the drivers side (the awning box blocks this on the passenger side). This will allow climbing up the side of the van to unload roof mounted items such as a kayak, or a storage box
