A wet bath is welcome in that the toilet gets a full cleaning periodically to prevent odor build up especially around the lid connections, base and surrounding floor. There is a build up of droplets and aerosols that can escape your toilet bowl. We have a curtain surround to keep most of the wall dry and it is easy to wipe down the toilet after. I built a teak slat floor and it could stand a good periodic rinsing and it drys quickly.

As for the drain, that too gets filled. Oil doesn't prevent jostling out and the inevitable draining of the trap especially on mountain roads. It is easy to pour a cup of water in the floor drain periodically if you don't use your shower often and, of course, you'll know if the trap is empty to need to do so.

The shower curtain rail on our GWV Legend is J-shaped such that you can draw the curtain completely over the toilet side of the room, which keeps the entire toilet completely dry. This is nice, since you can leave your towel, glasses, etc. sitting on the closed seat top, keeping them dry as well.
