You can try to leave the AC off,
then slide the temp level to WARM,
then press the defrost button.
(not the rear defrost, but the button under the "WARM" label.)

Then check under the hoot to see if the AC compressor is engaged.
Ok - thanks,

I replaced the both the grey and black tank waste valves on the van last week. The black valve had a very slight leak.

I bought a clear cap with a hose fitting so that if it ever leaks again I'll see it before taking the cap off.

Took the Class B out to run some errands. I stopped at 3 garage sales and two of them the owners asked about my van.

Coleman Mach 8 "Plus" install. Went pretty well. No cursing was required to get the job done.

A waste valve replacement seems pretty straight forward. Just 4 bolts, but with things so tight, is it hard to keep the "O" rings properly seated when sliding into place? How difficult to properly tighten the bolts?

I've heard over-tightening is bad, but who wouldn't want to give things just one more turn to keep it from developing another nasty drip.

Pressure washed the roof and used one tube of Dicor self leveling caulk to reseal my roof penatrations. It takes a lot of trips up and down the ladder to accopli6this task!

Bought a small car/motorcycle clam shell type trailer to tow behind for extra stuff on long trips. Getting ready to put hitch mount on front of camper for two bikes. This is for when halling trailer. Also putting on front brake calipers, pads and bearings. Then oil and filter change.
