Default Wheel Spacers Size

Hello, I have to get wheel spacers for the rear tires on my PW Excel, but I don't know what size to get, also, does anyone knows where I can get a good price on them? Everywhere I've seen them, they are expensive. Can I use spacers for an f 150 - 250? Thanks. Louie.

I can't say to a best source, but I will comment as to application. Wheel spacers are VERY specific to the vehicle and the application. Misapplied, they can be very hard on the equipment and dangerous. To use a 1/2 ton spacer on a 1 ton van is a very bad idea. Put the liability on the folks that make the spacers, and buy what is specifically designed for the unit you have. It isn't worth a major failure to try to save a couple of bucks.

Your rear axle is smaller width than your front axle. Do you know what the difference is?

Example: If it is 3" narrower, you will need 1.5" wheel spacers (2 x 1.5" = 3"). Due to the weight of our Class B rigs, these spacers should be made from steel. Steel spacers are expensive; but not as expensive as wheels, and it allows you to use the same wheels on all four corners (and spare).

Or you could use rear wheels that have a -38mm offset difference than your front wheels. But, you would then have different wheels front & rear.

The steel spacers are the least expensive, and most convenient option. Look at it this way, the spacers will probably cost less than the fuel for your next trip.
